Easter is right around the corner and one event that every kid looks forward too is egg hunting. Setting up an egg hunt is fairly simple and it doesn’t require a lot of preparation nor time. Egg hunts can be in‐door or the more traditional outdoors. The challenge of egg hunting is finding the most eggs and each egg has a sweet reward inside. This year, try something outside the traditional egg hunt by adding some lighting effects. With a black light and glow sticks an egg hunt can be turned into a more fun and exciting experience, here’s how:
Supplies You’ll Need
- Light colored plastic eggs
- Glow bracelets or neon paint
- 1 or 2 Black lights
Step 1: Black lights and location
Whether you’re hosting your egg hunt indoors or outdoors you’re going to need enough black lights to provide a great effect. Determining how big an area you’re going to use will help when choosing how many black lights you’re going to need. The black lights offered by Rent My Wedding offer a lot coverage and at great rates.
Step 2 : Prepare eggs
This part is really easy and the sweetest since all you need to do is put glow-in-the-dark bracelets inside the plastic eggs. Alternatively you can use neon color paint on the eggs to make your own design. Also, don’t forget to fill the eggs with candy!
Step 3: Have fun!
