This Heritage Prairie Farm Wedding video is filled with family and friends having a blast celebrating this couple tying the knot! The bride and groom had their guests use the WeddingMix app + HD cameras to document all of the wedding preparations and of course the big day! Take a look at their incredibly awesome highlight video below!
Tell us what part of your wedding planning you are most proud of.
I’m most proud that everyone had a great time, loved our vows, ceremony, and party, and told us that the whole thing was very “us.” We figured out early what was meaningful to us, and did a good job ignoring everything else. Also, I’m pretty sure I never bridezilla’d anybody, which is great.
Where did you get married?
We got married at Heritage Prairie Farm, a beautiful organic farm about an hour and a half from Chicago, where we live. We had lots of outdoor space to hang out in during the reception, and most of the food for the dinner was grown on site.
What special moments from your wedding do you want to remember forever?
Everyone, including my husband and I, laughed through our entire ceremony. And the music was provided by a small group of our friends, singing and playing guitars. Everything was very personal, and lots of the people who are most important to us had an opportunity to contribute to the day.
Tell us why using the WeddingMix app was appealing for your big day?
I wanted to remember what it felt like to be there. A professional videographer would have avoided the exact things I wanted to capture, like drunk uncles making spectacles of themselves, people being silly, and everyone sweating their butts off on the dance floor. But that’s what our lives are really like, so that’s what the wedding was really like!
How did WeddingMix help capture those moments?
Weddingmix was great! Everybody loves to feel like they contributed something important to the wedding, and this app gave people an easy way to do that.
Describe your wedding in one word.
FUN! The wedding was pretty much everything I hoped it could be.
